Who We Are
The Socratic Society is a group of people who get together to discuss issues of faith without an agenda. Our desire is to create friendship among people of different faith backgrounds, a friendship that is not interested in conversion or simply 'understanding' but in learning and growing. We sincerely believe that people of different faith backgrounds can, through contact, shared experience, and comraderie, help each other in the journey of life and create a love and a peace that can grow beyond the bounds of this small group and spill over into the greater world. When we say friendship, we truly mean friendship - that we can come to care for people and the journey they are on,even when we don't understand or agree with each other.
